Here are the items you should avoid placing in your skip: Asbestos; Fires; Freezers; Fridges; Gas cylinder; and Tyres.

What are the specifications for the 4 yard skip?
The 4-yard skip is ideal for low volume waste projects, offering a small and convenient solution for your disposal needs. It can hold approximately 25-35 black bags and features easy load drop door skips for added convenience. The dimensions of the 4-yard skip are as follows: height 88cm, width 177cm, length 235cm, with a base measuring 150cm x 177cm.

What is the biggest skip size for heavy material?
The largest skip that can be filled with heavy materials (soil, bricks or hardcore) is an 8YD skip.

What is the hire period?
We recommend a 2-week hire period, but this can be extended up to 4 weeks if needed.

Depending on the service you select, one of our experienced team members can be with you on the same day.

What size is best for me?
Choosing the right skip size may seem challenging, but it can be straightforward. For instance, a 6-yard skip is roughly the same size as a Mini Cooper. When selecting a skip, consider the delivery location. If you plan to place the skip on your driveway, ensure you have sufficient space for the chosen skip size.

Which way should the drop door face?
When booking your delivery or exchange, please request a drop door skip if needed. The doors on a drop door skip can be loaded from two directions. If loaded from the rear of the lorry, the doors typically open toward the property. If loaded from the cab of the lorry, the doors usually open toward the road.
