In accordance with environmental legislation, hazardous waste cannot be placed into skips of any size.
These include the following:
* You are responsible for the items you place into your skip. Hence if any of the above restricted items ate to be found in the skip you will be charged the cost of correctly disposing them.
* When filling up your skip, it must be level load, ensuring the rubbish remains contained in the skip. In order to comply with safety regulations, the sides and ends of the skip must not be extended with boards or other means to increase the capacity of the skip.
Having booked a skip pick-up for TOMORROW, they managed to re-route another driver and my skip was picked up TODAY, within half an hour of my original phone call! And I was worried about a massive planter between the skip and the road, and the driver was extra careful and did a FANTASTIC job. Thank you very much :-)
